Dr. Seo is a Professor of the  Department of Animal Science and Technology, Sunchon National University, Suncheon, Korea. He is also the Project Leader of the Golden Seed Project (swine) in Korea and recently, collaborated with the Philippine Carabao Center on the National Dairy Herd Improvement. 

He was a visiting Researcher of Danish Institute of Animal Science, Denmark and a Senior Researcher of the National Institute of Animal Science, RDA, Korea. His research and teaching works are focused on Animal Breeding and Genetics and Animal Traceability System.
