Prof. Yasuhiko Suzuki (Japan)

“Genetic diagnostics of animal infectious diseases to implement effective countermeasures”

Dr. Suzuki is both Professor and Director of the Hokkaido University International Institute for Zoonosis Control. His research interests are on bacterial diseases and zoonosis control. He is currently working on efforts on controlling neglected tropical diseases through development of rapid diagnostic methods and risk analysis. He is also a visiting professor in Thammasat University, Thailand and The University of Zambia.
